The Campaign is a citizen-based initiative for the purpose of elevating the historic Madonna of the Trail monument to a more prominent position in the streetscape of Bethesda. It is operates under the umbrella of the Maryland State Society Daughters of the American Revolution, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which owns the monument. Day-to-day activities are overseen by the Steering Committee.
